how do you make it play?

After an hour of trying, I give up. I pressed the record button and it started recording. The second press is supposed to stop the recording. But it wont stop! I tried quitting and restarting ... the recorder just runs on.

Nor is there a "play" button anywhere that I can see. So how do you make it play back what youve recorded?

This app is complicated enough that it needs some instruction. The minimal "this button does this action" notes are not enough.
